What We Grow:
Organic Produce and Flowers
Moodytown raises 4 acres of certified organic vegetables and cut flowers. They are available at the farm stand, through the Farm Share program, at farmers markets, or through special order/wholesale. Many different crops and varieties are grown.
Pastured Pork
Moodytown raises pigs on pasture year round. They have created their own mixture of breeds with Tamworth, Old Spot, and Yorkshire genetics. They keep two to three breeding sows each year and raise 15-30 pigs a year.

Grass Fed Beef
Beef is a relatively new business for the farm. They have been working on building up the herd over the last few years. They raise Hereford and Black Angus breeds. The beef cows are 100% grass-fed. They pasture from the spring through the fall and are fed certified organic hay. Starting in February of 2022, Beef will be available at farmers markets and on the farm.
Hay
In addition to producing the hay the farm needs to sustain itself, Moodytown makes and sells both certified Organic hay and non-certified hay. Hay is available off the field in the summer months, out of the barn, or it can be delivered for an extra cost.
